What is included in the Sonic Self-Install kit?

Your Sonic Self-Install kit will include the WiFi equipment you selected when placing your order, such as WiFi Max 7, WiFi Pro 6e and WiFi 6, an ethernet cable, power supply, a phone cable, wall straps and easy instructions on how to setup your internet.

How long does it take to set up my internet?

Setup is quick and easy and can be completed in minutes! Once you receive your Sonic Self-Install kit in the mail, follow the easy instructions provided to set up your internet connection. You will receive an email to confirm your internet is activated and is ready for use.

What is an ONT and where can I find it?

ONT is the Optical Network Terminal and is a small white box where Sonic Fiber is delivered to your home. It will likely be in an out-of-the-way area such as a basement, garage, or behind a large piece of furniture.

Please do not touch the fiber cable connected to the ONT. This cable is connected to the ONT via a green jack. It has glass inside and is quite fragile. If there are any issues with this cable, please contact Sonic support immediately at (855) 394-0100.
