Meet Our Team Member Daniel Smith
Working as Sonic’s sole Enterprise Account Manager, I get to work with hundreds of clients across all types of industries to ensure they are getting exactly what they need at the best possible price. By mixing my background in sales and law, I can actively communicate with clients and colleagues to make sure everyone is always on the same page. The bulk of my work comes as clients are nearing the end of their contract term and it’s time to re-negotiate their service contract. It always brings me joy to see client satisfaction for the way Sonic operates.

Favorite food?
wood-fired Neapolitan pizza or fresh sushi
Favorite local business?
Sonic! I’m also a big fan of the Sonoma County breweries such as Henhouse, Crooked Goat and of course, Russian River Brewing.
Favorite TV show/movie?
Tough one. My favorite movie is probably Children of Men but I also like anything from Studio Ghibli.
Hobby?
I play on an over 30s soccer team which is a ton of fun. I love to travel, cook, and (try to) play music.
Unique skill?
I’m an Eagle Scout so I’m supposed to know how to tie various knots… I forgot all that stuff, but I can make a great batch of kombucha now.

I ran the bases at Giants stadium on my birthday in 2018

Clients I’ve worked with and how I’ve helped them.
I’m always trying to get our enterprise clients switched over to Sonic Business Fiber. One such customer I worked with recently was QuieTrack Insurance Services. They were using our FlexLink Ethernet service and were soon to be out of contract. Working with Sonic Sales Engineers, we calculated the cost to deliver a fiber circuit to their location and successfully installed a gigabit fiber circuit for a Santa Rosa business at a lower cost than they were previously paying. Everybody won!
