• Primary and Secondary Stream Support - Handles all possible requests from your clients from primary and secondary video elementary streams (for Picture-in picture) with guaranteed 100% compliance for Blu-ray Disc.
• Creation for Browsable and Time-based Slideshows - Easy encoding from graphic files to create still images for both browsable and time-based slideshows for Blu-ray Disc.
• Simultaneous Audio Capturing/Encoding - Simultaneous capture/encode of Linear PCM or Dolby^® Digital (AC-3) audio is supported. Please note that this feature requires additional hardware. Please see the configuration guide for full details.

• One-pass CBR Support - Provides for fast and efficient encoding times. Exceptional quality encodes can be generated in a true real time single pass direct from tape.
• Powerful Two-pass VBR Encoding – First-pass evaluation and customized manual bit reassignment enables efficient data rate budgeting. This maximizes picture quality during the second pass encoding.

Professional Encoding Tools

• Inverse 2:3 Pull-down Processing - The Sony MPEG-2 Encoder easily handles 29.97fps telecine source material by efficiently recognizing the 2:3 pattern and generating BD-ROM compliant streams. For two-pass encodes the 2:3 pattern is detected during the first pass can be manually edited during customization.
• Automatic Scene Change Detection - Scenes are detected during the analysis process, permitting the most efficient placement of I-frames in the GOP structure.
• Customizable Batch Encoding – Encode different tape rolls using different encoding parameters.
• Batch Encoding - Allows for multiple tape rolls to be encoded in one session.
