The AuthorScript Data Backup SDK is the most device-friendly engine on the market. We recently introduced our SilentSelect™ technology that enables support of new drives automatically by understanding their key attributes dynamically. This eliminates the need to update supported drive tables in the field as new drives enter the market. This engine supports over 1800 drives and counting. The AuthorScript Data Backup SDK has gone through one of the most rigorous qualification processes known for both CD and DVD drives.
This engine has been around longer than any other, is small, efficient, extensively tested in the lab and by the market, well documented and easy to integrate.
