PowerDVD to Add Native Support for the Hollywood Standard in Bonus Content and Web-enabled DVD Playback Technology

Novato, California (January 27, 2005) — InterActual, a subsidiary of Sonic Solutions® (NASDAQ: SNIC) and the leading supplier of web-enabled bonus content technology for Hollywood DVD titles, announced today that CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader and pioneer in providing integrated solutions for the Digital Home, has licensed the InterActual Player software development kit (SDK) for integration into its PowerDVD product line. The SDK will allow CyberLink to add native playback of InterActual-enabled titles within PowerDVD, thereby providing its customers with convenient access to thousands of DVD titles packed with exciting bonus features designed for the PC.
