Leitch Chooses Sonic ReelDVD® for dpsVelocityQ Non-linear Editing Systems

Marin County, California (June 10, 2003) — Leitch Technology Corporation (TSX:LTV; NASDAQ:LVID) and Sonic Solutions® (NASDAQ:SNIC) announced today that Leitch’s dpsVelocityQ non-linear editing systems will now include Sonic Solutions’ ReelDVD Studio DVD authoring software. The combination of dpsVelocityQ with Sonic ReelDVD gives non-linear editors access to the advanced DVD creation capabilities of ReelDVD, which is built upon the same industry-proven DVD formatting technology incorporated into Scenarist, Sonic's Hollywood-standard authoring system.
