MyDVD® and DVDit!® Sales Soar as Consumers Embrace DVD Creation

This three million milestone was reached only six months after Sonic announced the two million mark of shipments, and underscores two key trends: 1) DVD-recordable drives are on a rapid growth curve that is expected to continue in 2003 and beyond and 2) with an estimated 85 percent share of market, Sonic Solutions continues to be the dominant supplier of DVD creation software to PC, peripheral and drive OEMs such as Adaptec, Compaq, Dell, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, Matrox, Memorex, Nova, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, Sony and many others.
