Fujitsu Chooses Sonic MyDVD® for New PCs

Latest FMV-BIBLO Series Notebook PC and FMV-DESKPOWER Desktop PCs Feature Industry's Leading DVD Creation Software

Las Vegas, Nevada (November 18, 2002) – Sonic Solutions (NASDAQ: SNIC) announced today at the Comdex Convention, that Fujitsu Ltd. is now bundling Sonic™ MyDVD® 4 with their new Notebook PC, FMV-BIBLO NB18B and Desktop PCs, FMV-DESKPOWER Series CE18B/R, CE18WB/R, C20SB/M, C20WB/M,C24WB/M, and L18B/F for sale in Japan. Combining an intuitive user interface with a powerful DVD and Video CD creation engine, MyDVD provides users of the new Fujitsu PCs, which includes a DVD-R/RW drive and TV tuner, the ability to create Hollywood-style DVDs of their favorite TV programs, home videos and digital images.

Fujitsu's PCs are designed as a complete home entertainment system. With built-in TV tuner and MPEG-2 encoder, the FMV-BIBLO and FMV-DESKPOWER enable users to watch and record high-definition and standard-definition television as well as record and play music. With the addition of Sonic MyDVD 4, users can turn their recorded programs, home videos, music and digital photos into DVDs and Video CDs that can be burned using the included DVD-R/RW CD-RW recorder.

MyDVD 4 also features optimized Direct-to-DVD™ recording which allows users, in just a few clicks, to record their content directly to DVD from a video source connected to the computer's video input. Sonic MyDVD 4 is also OpenDVD®-compliant, enabling previously burned DVDs to be opened, re-edited, updated with new video and photo content and re-burned to DVD recordable/re-writable media.
