introduced today SonicStudio HD Version 1.5 at the International
Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam. The world's most
popular application for premastering High-Density Audio content,
SonicStudio HD forms the core of Sonic's audio product line
for preparing audio masters for a wide range of applications,
including DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, and CD-Audio. This new release
includes a number of important enhancements, including the
ability to perform signal processing operations in the background
while users continue to edit, providing a major productivity
boost. Combined with a powerful 48-bit HDSP processing engine
and exclusive Sonic Clarity(tm) architecture, SonicStudio
HD is unique in its ability to deliver ultra-high-fidelity
for distribution in multiple formats.

SonicStudio HD 1.5 adds powerful multi-tasking functionality,
performing HDSP processing in the background while the user
continues editing in the foreground. The new release also
adds CD and DDP loadback, CD and DDP verify, and includes
additional feature enhancements requested by SonicStudio HD
users:

- Two-point editing between source and destination tracks
