Sales of Sonic DVDit!™ and MyDVD™ Pass 250,000 Unit Mark

Demand for Desktop DVD Authoring Continues to Soar, New Consumer Market Emerges

Sonic Solutions (NASDAQ: SNIC) announced today that sales of its award-winning DVDit! and MyDVD applications have topped the 250,000 unit mark. In just a little over a year, SonicÌs desktop DVD authoring and consumer DVD recording applications have captured more than 90 percent of the overall market for DVD applications, underscoring the significant demand for SonicÌs affordable, simple-to-use solutions for publishing video on DVD.
