MyDVD Partners
Sonic has partnered with the leading companies in the computer industry to supply consumer solutions for DVD publishing.

Adaptec bundles a version of MyDVD with its 1394/FireWire and USB 2.0 complete solutions. The combination enables any consumer with a PC and DVD or CD recorder to create professional-looking videos in the DVD format.

ADS Technologies bundles Sonic MyDVD with its USB Instant DVD capture device, enabling users to capture any analog source directly into MyDVD and then burn a DVD disc.

AIST bundles Sonic MyDVD with its complete line of MovieX™ video editing products, including MovieDV, MovieDVsuite™, and all MoviePack™ products. With MyDVD, AIST provides its users with end-to-end video capture and editing as well as the ability to publish their films, videos, presentations, training, or any other multimedia content on the popular DVD format.

Compaq offers an end-to-end DVD solution with Sonic MyDVD 2.3 that allows home users to select personal video clips and graphics, add interactive menus, preview a DVD title and then record it directly to a DVD disc in the popular DVD-Video format. The resulting DVD discs can be played back on set-top DVD players as well as DVD-equipped PCs, making it possible for consumers to publish and share their videos on a universal medium that offers unparalleled video quality at a low cost. Compaq will also soon offer models that include MyDVD 3.

CustomFlix is the leading provider of on-demand video publishing service to enable producers to turn their DVD content into cash. The company has brought together the best components of duplication, encoding, DVD authoring, streaming video preview, e-commerce, and the Internet to deliver a revolutionary new way to bring a few or a few thousand copies of a DVD to market.

Dell bundles MyDVD with their personal computers for home users who want a fast and easy way to make their own DVD-Video discs. By including Sonic MyDVD, Dell has taken a large step forward in bringing personal, affordable, DVD recording to the home.

Hewlett-Packard bundles a proprietary version of MyDVD with its newly-introduced HP DVD-writer dvd100i drive. The dvd100i drive is the first commercially-available DVD+RW recorder. Combined with MyDVD from Sonic, the dvd100i enables users to transform custom home videos into interactive DVDs.

LaCie bundles MyDVD and DVDit! authoring software for its new external FireWire™ DVD-R drive as well as its DVD-RW drive. By combining rewritable and write-once DVD capabilities, flexible FireWire connectivity and Sonic's MyDVD and DVDit! LE software, LaCie's DVD drives meet the needs of consumers, businesses and content professionals for applications ranging from home movie authoring and editing to secondary data storage, image archiving, small-scale distribution, and backup.

Logitec bundles MyDVD their ATAPI internal DVD+RW drive to provide DVD recording, editing and authoring capabilities drive. By combining the ease-of-use of MyDVD with Logitec's ATAPI internal DVD+RW drive at an attractive price point, Logitec's new bundle brings home DVD moviemaking to a broad new audience.

Micro Solutions bundles Sonic MyDVD with its new USB 2.0 Backpack DVD+RW drive, allowing anyone to make high quality video DVDs from camcorder video, digital photos, and MPG movie files on their computer. Also included is the new release of the SPEEDY CD software which now creates data DVDs and copies non-encrypted video DVDs in addition to creating audio and data CDs with the drive. The Backpack DVD+RW is the easy way to add a DVD writer to a PC and includes a printed “How to make a DVD” booklet.

Micron bundles MyDVD with its newest line of personal computers, providing a powerful DVD solution to output video in an easy and intuitive way.

NEC Computers International bundles Sonic MyDVD 2.3 with its Packard Bell and NEC brands of personal computers for the home.

Philips bundles MyDVD with their new DVDRW208 DVD+RW writer, giving PC users and video enthusiasts the power to convert personal videos into DVD discs in a single step. In addition, video recorded onto DVD from Philips' new set-top DVDR1000 DVD Video Recorder can be used directly in MyDVD.

Pioneer bundles MyDVD with its award-winning Pioneer DVR-A05 DVD-R/RW drives, the company's fifth-generation DVD recorders. By combining the Pioneer drive and Sonic MyDVD Video Suite, Pioneer provides users of its DVR-A05 drives with an extremely powerful and flexible integrated application to create, edit and burn DVDs.

Ricoh bundles MyDVD with its new MP5120A Super Combination Drive. With the addition of MyDVD, Ricoh's new DVD+RW drive provides a complete DVD solution that allows users to select personal video clips, add interactive menus, preview a DVD project and then record it directly to DVD.

V-One bundles Sonic MyDVD with the Snazzi* III DVD Creator. With Sonic MyDVD and the Snazzi* III DVD Creator, users can capture video and audio clips to hard disk from a camcorder or a VHS player and then create customized DVDs.

DVDit! Partners
Aplix has selected Sonic DVDit! LE to provide DVD authoring capabilities with their WinCDR 6.0 Premium Package of CD-R/ CD-RW recording software for Windows 95/98/Me/NT 4.0/2000. With DVDit!, Aplix users can quickly create menus, link MPEG video, audio and images, and then, using DVDit!'s integrated cDVDcapability, create DVD-Video titles on standard CD-R discs.

Avid bundles DVDit! with Avid ePublisher, Avid’s streaming media publishing tool. By integrating DVDit!, users are able to add DVD publishing and offer a true multi-format streaming media tool for creating content that can be distributed to the Web, DVD and DV.

AVIO Systems bundles DVDit! LE with their AVM 3010, 3020 and 3060 encoding cards. With Sonic DVDit!, AVIO users are able to author their captured movies onto DVD with an easy drag and drop method.

Canopus includes Sonic DVDit! with its line of digital video editing and MPEG encoding solutions. Combined with Canopus' products, DVDit! gives video professionals and enthusiasts an easy way to create and publish interactive content for DVD.

Compaq Computer K.K. a division of Compaq Computer Corporation bundles Sonic DVDit! with its Presario 5112JP model of computers for video enthusiasts who want to make their own DVD-Video discs.

Dell bundles DVDit! SE with their personal computers for video enthusiasts to create their own DVD-Video discs. By including Sonic DVDit! SE, Dell has taken a big step forward in bringing professional and affordable DVD recording to the home.

DPS bundles Sonic DVDit! With its dpsVelocity™ non-linear editing and web streaming system, making DVD authoring and publishing easy. Fully compatible with MPEG-2 DVD output files created from dpsVelocity's timeline, DVDit! features support for thousands of menus, an intuitive user interface, direct writing to a broad range of DVD and CD recorders, and real-time DVD simulation, allowing users to proof their DVD prior to burning.

eBizwan will bundle DVDit! LE with their BW668 encoding card. Now, in combination with Sonic DVDit!, eBizwan users will be able to have their final edited projects on the DVD format of their choice.

EIZO Nanao Corporation includes Sonic DVDit! with models of its EIZO MediaDirector real-time DV production systems – the GP8000 with Dual CPU and DVD-R, as well as the GP5000 with Single CPU and CD-R/RW support. With Sonic’s DVDit!, MediaDirector will provide a complete DV-to-DVD solution that allows users to edit movies in real time, select video clips and graphics, add interactive menus, preview a DVD project and then record it directly to a DVD disc in the popular DVD-Video format.

Fujitsu bundles Sonic DVDit! LE with it's FMV DESKPOWER line of personal computers sold in Japan. By combining Sonic's award-winning DVD authoring technology with FUJITSU's high-power FMV DESKPOWER PC, video enthusiasts and consumers have an all-in-one solution for creating interactive content on DVD.

Hewlett-Packard Company bundles Sonic DVDit! as part of its complete digital video production solution available with the HP x1000, HP x1100, HP x2000, HP x2100 and HP x4000 workstations. Providing all the tools that users need to create professional digital video (DV) content and then publish to CD, DVD, or the web, the HP digital video production bundle is ideal for digital content creation, corporate training and messaging, event videography production and traditional entertainment.

Hitron will bundle DVDit! LE with their VideoXper encoding card. With the addition of Sonic DVDit! LE users can author captured movies to DVD in a simple and professional format.

Holon will bundle DVDit! LE with Video Tools Pro giving users the flexibility to output to the DVD format of their choice.

I-O Data has chosen DVDit! LE to provide DVD authoring capabilities with their GV-MPEG2/PCI MPEG-2 video capture and editing system. By including DVDit!, users can easily capture movies in real-time MPEG-2, edit the contents, and directly author a DVD title.

LaCie has selected Sonic's award-winning DVDit! and MyDVD authoring software for its new external FireWire DVD-R drive as well as it's DVD-RW drive. Media 100 bundles DVDit! PE with iFinish. With Sonic DVDit! users can create video using MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 for CD-ROM and DVD production; and high-quality video for traditional broadcast and videotape distribution.

MKE will bundle DVDit LE with their DVD-R LKR-9501XZ(SCSI). With Sonic DVDit! users will have the creative control they need to organize and burn DVD discs.

NEC bundles Sonic DVDit! LE with all VALUESTAR T systems, allowing users to combine DV video with menu backgrounds, buttons, links and interactivity, and publish their own videos on DVD. Using Sonic's exclusive cDVD™ technology, DVDit! records the final DVD content to the CD-R drive that is part of the VALUESTAR T package. In addition, DVDit! can also directly write to DVD-R to produce discs that are fully compatible with set-top consumer DVD players.

Panasonic bundles Sonic's DVDit! LE editing and authoring software with their DVD-RAM/R drive on a worldwide basis, making building DVD titles as easy as selecting a menu background and then dragging and dropping an AVI, QuickTime or MPEG video file into the application.

Pioneer bundles Sonic DVDit! with its latest DVD recorders, providing a rich set of features with incredible ease-of-use, making DVD production approachable in a way never before possible.

Pixela will bundle DVDit! LE with Panasonic's DVD-RAM/R PIX-DVRR/FW1(IEEE) allowing users to creatively organize their videos and output them to DVD.

Sherlock includes Sonic DVDit! SE with its new SherStation DVD workstation, a complete video production system for home and office applications, enabling users to produce video discs that can be played back on most of the DVD players, DVD-ROM drives and DVD recorders in use today.

Sony bundles Sonic DVDit! LE with its line of powerful VAIO™ desktop computers in Japan and around the globe. With the inclusion of DVDit!, Sony was the first PC manufacturer to provide end-to-end video capture, editing and publishing on DVD on a consumer-level PC.

Sotec bundles Sonic DVDit! with their PC STATION E4200xp. Sonic DVDit! contributes greatly to the powerful bundle of software that Sotec is offering its users.

ST Trade bundles DVDit! SE with thier Pioneer DVD-RW drives, giving users complete control of how they would like to creatively organize their video content on a DVD.

V-One will bundle DVDit! LE with its DV.now AV capture device. This device captures both digital and analog video. In combination with Sonic DVDit!, users can capture in the format of their choice. and then create a customized DVD.

AuthorScript Partners
Adobe has licensed DVD authoring technology from Sonic to form the foundation of an Adobe-branded professional DVD authoring application.

America Online, Inc. (AOL) has licensed Sonic AuthorScript, allowing the company to incorporate Sonic's CD-audio, CD-ROM and DVD-ROM burning technologies into its interactive and web-based applications and services. MusicNet on AOL, a premium music subscription service, will include the Sonic AuthorScript SDK (Software Developer's Kit) for CD and DVD burning. Support for CD burning in MusicNet on AOL allows members who browse and purchase music tracks from the vast MusicNet on AOL catalog to burn them safely and legally, directly to CD.

Avid Technology has integrated Sonic AuthorScript technology in its Avid® Symphony™ 3.1, Avid Media Composer 10.1, Avid Xpress® 4.1 and Avid Xpress DV 2.0 lines of editing systems. With the integration of Sonic AuthorScript, Avid system users have the ability to publish their video and audio projects in the Avid timeline directly to DVD-recordable devices.

Intervideo has licensed Sonic AuthorScript for integration into WinProducer, InterVideo's PC-based video editing application.

Microsoft has licensed Sonic's DVD-Video-authoring technology. Under the terms of the multiyear agreement, Sonic provides core technology and development expertise to Microsoft. The companies also cooperate in a number of ways in marketing, customer education, and standards development for their DVD-related products.

Sony has licensed Sonic’s AuthorScript DVD publishing technology for integration into models of its Vaio desktop computers. By incorporating AuthorScript, Sony Electronics is able to provide Vaio users with the ability to record captured video files onto DVD media.

Vingage adds Sonic DVD Formatting Technology to Vingage DVD Fulfillment Server. Sonic AuthorScript Powers Services for Network, Personal DVDs.
